I have had the Standard Duty Golf Cage Net (10' x 9' 6" x 9' 6") for almost a month. Time permitting, it gets use 6-7 days a week for around an hour each session. I normally hit my PW, 6 or 7 iron and occasionally my 4 iron. I did not mount the inside hitting net and opted for hanging a bath towel in the center of the cage back net. This setup works very well as the towel provides a target and protects the cage rear net from direct ball impact. As it turns out, I’m glad I utilized the towel. I did not realize a few of my 4 iron shots were impacting below the towel. One shot broke a net strand and my ball flew into the yard. As noted in the product description, using a driver directly into the net is not recommended. It seems long irons should be added to this recommendation.
I am quite pleased with the quality of the net with the exception of the recent 4 iron through the net. When I decide to hang the inside hitting net, I will still hang some type of cloth on to the net to hit into.
Overall I am pleased with the net and I think it was reasonably priced. My swing is improving! Thanks ParBuster…
